At Heritage Homestead Co., our products are handmade in small batches using natural ingredients. Because our products are personal care items, all sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges due to sanitary and hygiene reasons.

We do not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds for purchased products due to a change of mind, scent preference, or personal preference.

Our tallow body care products are made with natural ingredients, and variations in texture, consistency, color, and appearance are normal. Factors such as ingredient characteristics, temperature, and cooling conditions can affect the final texture of a product. These natural variations do not necessarily indicate a defect or affect the quality of the product.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Orders

Please inspect your order upon arrival. If your order arrives damaged, you receive the wrong item, or you believe a product has a defect, please contact us promptly at info@heritagehomesteadco.com with your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photographs when applicable.

We will review the issue and work with you to determine an appropriate resolution. Please contact us before disposing of or attempting to return any affected product.

Non-Returnable Items

Due to sanitary, hygiene, and biosecurity reasons, we cannot accept returns or exchanges on any of our products, including but not limited to:

• Tallow body care and skincare products

• Soaps, lotions, body butters, balms, and other personal care items

• Candles and wax melts

• Custom or special-order products

• Sale items and gift cards

All sales are final. Exceptions may be considered only when required by applicable law or when we determine that an order qualifies for a resolution under our damaged, defective, or incorrect order policy.

Product Safety and Use

Please read all product descriptions, ingredient lists, and usage instructions before use. We recommend performing a patch test before applying a new personal care product, especially if you have sensitive skin or known allergies.

Our products are made with care, but individual reactions and results may vary. Customers are responsible for reviewing ingredients and determining whether a product is appropriate for their intended use. Use products only as directed and discontinue use if irritation occurs.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Heritage Homestead Co. is not responsible for injury, damage, or loss resulting from misuse, improper application, failure to follow product instructions, or use contrary to product warnings. Nothing in this policy excludes or limits any rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Order Cancellations

If you need to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible. Orders may not be canceled once they have been processed or shipped.

Orders canceled before shipment or refunded at our discretion may be subject to a $25 restocking fee, where permitted by applicable law and disclosed before the fee is charged. This fee will not apply where prohibited by law.
